ASSIGNMENT

Technology user is a person who utilizes a computer or network service.

Here are some characteristics of the computer;

     

1. Speed : A computer is a very fast device. It can perform in few seconds the amount of work that a human being can do in an entire year .

 2.Storage : The computer has an in-built memory where it can store a large amount of data. Data can also be stored on secondary devices like, floppies and be carried to other computer.

3. Automatic:Computers are automatic devices, because once started on a job, they carry on until the job is finished. 

 4. No IQ:Computera are dumb machine and it cannot work without instructions from users. Again, it cannot take its own decisions as you can.

     There are some uses of technology. These are;

 1. Record keeping

2. Internet and search: due to technology, we can access the internet and use computers to make research .

3. In Government : Various government use computers for their planning, control and law enforcement activities due to technology

. 

4. For recreation and entertainment: our entertainment and pleasure time have also been affected by computerization due to technology.eg; watching movies and videos.
